TDMA is about community.
We work to ensure economic vitality, historical preservation and beautification of the “Heart & Soul” of Truckee for a viable, sustainable and livable Truckee we call home!
— Cassie Hebel, TDMA Executive Director

The Truckee Downtown Merchants Association (TDMA) is celebrating 50 Years of as an association!

TDMA was formed in 1969 “In response to the specific needs of downtown businesses regarding matters such as parking, maintenance of streets/sidewalks, snow removal, landscaping, lighting, historic preservation of buildings and landmarks, new development…and most importantly the need for a political voice representing us in Nevada County as we were governed by the county at that time.” -Stefanie Olivieri

TDMA has created, advocated and supported economic vitality projects such as paving and maintaining parking lots, coordination of Holiday and Year Round lighting to successful events like Truckee Follies, Downtown Holiday Festival & Bud Fish Ceremony, Truckee Thursdays and Art & Soul ArtWalk.

As a business organization TDMA strives to gain perspective from downtown businesses, advocate for their needs and provide informed decisions for the betterment of Truckee. TDMA collaborates with the Town of Truckee, Truckee Chamber, Sierra Business Council, Mountain Area Preservation, as well as several artist’s organizations Truckee Public Arts Commission, Truckee Arts Alliance and the Truckee California Cultural District to ensure an inclusive business community.

TDMA Board of Director and staff thanks Truckee for supporting us! Please join TDMA in Celebrating 50 Years on Thursday, May 16th  from 6PM to 8:30PM at Community Arts Center for a celebration!
