5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Every First Friday of the month, participating downtown shops and restaurants will offer complimentary art, food, drinks, music and more. Participating shops and restaurants will display First Friday Flags so the public will know where the fun is.

What is First Fridays?

First Fridays is an event that takes place the first Friday of each calendar month throughout the year from 5 to 8pm in Historic Downtown Truckee. On First Fridays, downtown's unique shops, boutiques, art studios, salons and eateries will keep their doors open later and offer special promotions, sales, activities, demonstrations, food and beverages and much more!

First Fridays is a celebratory community event where locals and visitors alike are encouraged to explore and discover the unique offerings and energy of Historic Downtown Truckee in a festive atmosphere. Look for the First Fridays flags identifying participating businessess.

Friday, March 1 - Snow Madness

Celebrate SnowFest! and wear your white downtown this Friday evening. Participating merchants will be offering special snow refreshments, deals and activities as Historic Downtown Truckee welcomes the opening day of SnowFest! Gather unique items and decorate your very own snowman. Post a picture of your creation on the Historic Downtown Truckee Facebook page to win a great prize provided by downtown businesses. Priczes awarded to the most creative snowman and the snowman with the best use of decor collected downtown. Winner announced on the Facebook page on March 8th.

Artisans Marketplace - Neat Tweet creations will be building mini bird houses for the kids. Firepit and s'mores for all.

Mo, Jo and Zoe - Open late! Stop by for unique Snowman decoration items.

La Fleur Rouge - Open late showcasing new St. Patrick's Day light display.

La Galleria, Gratitudes Gifts and Home Decor and White Buffalo - Open late serving refreshments and hosting live music by Angele Marie Thibadeau and Friends.

Riverside Studios - Art show (4pm start) featuring local master wood worker Tom Beebe. Live music by Kelly Ann Miller. SnowFest snow facts for history buffs and snowman surprises for the kids and the young at heart.

Dragonfly Restaurant - Lobster night with Live Music! 3 course Maine Lobster dinner for $42.

Bar of America - Fish Taco Friday

Bespoke - Screen printing on-site. Bring a bag, t-shirt or cloth to be screen printed. Live artist in-store working on wall painting. Come by for a refreshment and see live art in action!
